Kathy Bouchard lives in downtown Nashua and has a studio located there. She is a retired librarian whose passion for learning never stops. Kathy studied art in her early twenties and has continued throughout her life to explore many art forms. She uses acrylics and sculpting paste along with architectural templates to create an under-painting that gives her work dimension.
Her philosophy, “Never Stop Looking,” guides her approach to art and life. Kathy wants viewers of her work to pause and uncover more than what is visible on the surface, providing an experience that is both fun and enlightening. This philosophy applies equally to her minimal landscapes, where subtlety invites deeper exploration.
"Never Stop Looking" is my philosophy about art and my work in general. I want viewers of my work to stop for a moment and find more than what is seen on the surface. It can be fun and enlightening at the same time. I feel all art should be viewed this way. On my minimal landscapes, the same philosophy can be applied but in a more subtle way.
